Product Description The BaByliss for Men I-Clip trimmer is a combined clipper and beard trimmer with electro-chemically sharpened titanium blades for sharpness and precision. Its auto-lube system also means they?ll never need oiling. It has a rotary telescopic comb guide which locks into 18 cutting lengths (3mm - 30mm) for precise trimming. There?s also a precision comb guide with 5 set lengths (0.5mm to 2.5mm) if you?re after that designer stubble look. With 2 speed settings

No longevity August 30, 2008 Mr. S. J. Woods (UK) Trims your stubble fine but after about a month mine stopped working. First the variable trim setting stopped going up and down, then it just started going on and off when it liked, and eventually just stopped altogether.
out for the count in five days. July 22, 2008 L. Richards (London, UK) Cuts my beard well when fully charged up. However my beard is typically coarse and takes a while to cut evenly. The Babyliss I-Trim looses its charge after a couple uses and by the fifth day (if i am lucky and it lasts that long) will cut out and need recharging to the max. This product doesn't do what it says on the tin. I am now on the hunt for a replacement - any ideas?
Broke down quickly July 16, 2008 literaryzealot This trimmer did a decent job although I can't compare it to other models as it's the first of the kind I have purchased. However I had the same problem as another reviewer -- after about 6 months it suddenly stopped working altogether. Would turn on for about a second and then off again. Must be a component issue, hopefully Babyliss will address.
Very disappointing... June 12, 2008 J. Preston 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
When I first saw this advertised I was really optimistic, as I have been looking for a good while for a beard trimmer which gives a close, accurate stubble. However, having received it for a Christmas present, I am bitterly disappointed. Here's why: 1. The comb guide finishes at the end of the cutter so if you accidentally tilt the trimmer beyond the 90 as advised in the instructions, the guide goes out the window and your beard is immediately reduced to 0.5mm, if not less. This is particularly evident around the chin, where it is impossible to stay at 90 to the face. 2. Using the trimmer on 0.5mm around the neck area, causes sharp painfull cuts, every time without fail. My neck is completely butchered! 3. My trimmer, only 6 months old, now only works intermittently. The buttons to raise and lower the comb guide rarely work unless the whole unit is shaken vigorously. Very annoying. To make matters worse, because it was a gift, I am unable to supply proof of purchase to return the thing. Don't waste your money.
SHOCKING!!! May 6, 2008 Mr. N. J. Boniface (Brighton) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This product has such an awful design flaw. The trimmer head only moves up and down (not forwards over the blade) which means when trying to trim over the chin the blade is exposed and cuts off all the hair. The result is patches of baldness in your stubble. The instructions tell you to keep the trimmer flat at all times - pity your face isn't one giant flat surface then really. Don't buy this trimmer!
