Firsty, got to say it's a great whisk. Feels great in the hand, wont concider melting in or scratching your expensive 'le creuset' pans. Only thing is that it's top heavy!! Will fall out of most pans or bowls if you release the handle. Still recomend it though.

Yet another 'can't-do-without' item from Le Creuset, this fully encased silicon Whisk is completely hygienic as there are NO food traps.
Stain resistant/doesn't absorb flavours.
Heat resistant to 800 F/425 C, so can be used in a pan on the hob. The silicon coating doesn't scratch, so it can be used in any bowl or pan.
Ergonomic weighted handle makes stirring easy and comfortable.
Available in patriotic Red, White or Blue and pretty enough to have hanging around in your kitchen!
Excellent price at Amazon, today.

Well, what can i say? To put into words the extreme delight i recieve when using this tool is a feat of unimaginable difficulty. From the first moment i grasped its shiny handle after ripping open its box on the day of purchase to the last beaten egg this inplement has been nothing but whisk wonder!No more do i waste precious time mixing a 3 egg, splash of milk, butter nob concocction like i used to using draconian devices such as the Stainless Steel 11" Balloon Whisk from the Oxo Good Grips range which i found to be over priced, overated and, to be honest, over the top. The Le Creuset Silicon Whisk, using its slender design, smooth handle and understated hanging hook will whip anything up to a fluffy phenomenon quicker than you could lick an acorn. I could talk all day about this wonderous whisk but i shall say only this: All you whisk fans out there, put down your phantom 1200, stop saving for your remington rotator 7000 and grab yourself the Le Creuset Silicon Whisk because, regardless of what 'what whisk' said in its rediculous January review, this whisk continues to drag cooking into the new millenium! Buy it! A whisk fan - Durham.
