2 out of 5 stars Dont' bother   December 30, 2007

It can't be non stick if it rusts! I bought two of these French bread pans in the hope that my bread would have that characteristic bobbled base and a crispy top. From that point of view it worked. (Two stars) Good bread that looked more authentic than baked on a tray. I put the bread pans in the dishwasher on the quick wash (29 mins at about 85 degrees) gave them a quick wipe and put them away. The following day I noticed that there was rust on both of the pans on the inside of the holes. I spent some time cleaning off the rust and oiling the pans. Guess what happened the next time I used them? I had a lovely orange base to my bread. The pans rusted again after cleaning this time with soapy water in the sink. Poor build quality has let this product down.

5 out of 5 stars ideal for the home baker   August 21, 2007

Being a large family of 9 and soon to be 10 of us, I bought two of these and ordered another two. Home-baked French Bread tastes magnifcent, brilliant for school packed lunches. The trays just fit our oven with a little bit of juggling (measure your oven before you buy), an ideal tool for the kitchen, they hold the shape of the bread perfectly, they can be used for home-made petit-pans, baguettes. They are worth the investment.

I've been looking for these for a long time, most places that I've been finding are in the USA and the trays are too big.
