Mouse trapped June 12, 2008 M. W. Butler (London, UK) It took two weeks but I found a mouse in the trap yesterday and have now released him a good mile away. I used raisins and ice cream cone wafer as bate and placed along the wall by a bookcase. Good product.
Door shut but no mice!!! June 9, 2008 D. MacLeod (Highlands) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought two of these traps and set them over two consecutivce nights. Three times the bait has gone and the doors have been shut but however the mice seem to be able to escape.
useless May 20, 2008 N.B. (London, UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I fell for the positive reviews for this product and regret it. I'm not sure what goes wrong, but the mice aren't being caught by these. Used raisins/chocolate/peanut butter and the mice are still running around the place, leaving signs and eating other food but not being caught by these traps. Twice the trap has been shut, with no mouse inside. I'm guessing since its not a spring mechanism, and the door just falls while the mouse is only halfway it can back out. Waste of time and money.

It arrived somewhat damaged in the post, but works a treat. I expect the mouse will be back, but I'm sure it will fall for it again.
Does the trick March 21, 2008 Cazzandra (Guildford UK) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I've used a lot of humane traps and have quite a collection. This is the one I prefer because it's large enough not to worry a mouse and you can see when you've caught something. It needs good bait. Mice are suckers for anything sweet - they like chocolate. I caught a family of them in one evening using this and some chocolate wafers. It needs to be sited well, they prefer to travel round the edges of rooms or somewhere dark - like a cupboard under the stairs for example. So figure out where they are and place the trap carefully. Some of the smaller traps are a tight squeeze for the adult house mouse so this is much better and not so prone to triggering by accident.
