5 out of 5 stars I love this kettle!   November 16, 2008

I've owned my kettle for over 8 years now, and I still think it's the best kettle out there. Unlike a lot of more modern designs it's very light and quiet. I particularly like the lid opener, situated exactly where you need it - under your thumb on the handle. For the price, you can't go wrong!

After having blown up my last kettle I decided I would need a quick replacement whilst I thought of what to get next. So far I feel no need to get another.
The flip up top is genuinely useful for ease of filling.
The kettle lifts off and replaces on the base very easily.
The on/off switch is smooth in action and has a light incorporated in it so you know when its on.
Importantly, the water heats up pretty quickly and the kettle is fairly quiet too.
For the price you can't really go wrong.

1 out of 5 stars Kenwood kettle: my experience   January 29, 2006

Kettle worked fine for a year and a half. It then decided to turn off during boiling. Consumers can't e-mail Kenwood as they do have a e-mail department. Have written three times, but no replies.

There isn't much to say about a kettle, so I'll keep it short.

It's cordless, boils quickly enough, includes a scale filter and, best of all, it's nearly silent in operation.
