Not really the best one I ever had August 25, 2008 adjustit (UK) Actually I bought the predecessor that included a turbo nozzle but I found that it only did the job for about 2 monthths before jamming. Well the device itself is rather light, which is a plus. However, due to the high centre of gravity it tends to fall over when turning around a corner. The cable (usable 4.5m) is quite short and funnily enough, after a year the cable cannot be stopped to retract (usually I found that vacuums suffer from not being able to retract after a while). The filter is washable and "brushable" - the latter is necessary since the suction diminishes rapidly if fine dust enters the filter, hence it has to be frequently cleaned (I already had better bagless cleaners). The fine particle filter is hard to keep in place but the main filter already takes most of the dirt anyway. Overall I would not buy it again.
Good cheap, bagless, vacuum July 22, 2008 M. Smith (London, UK) Our main criteria when buying the vacuum cleaner was storage - we needed something that packed away well and still was a fairly good cleaner. Had a good look around and decided on this one. It's been good for the few months that we've had it. We don't have any carpets so I can't say whether it's good with carpets but for general wood floor sucking it is fine! and small enough to tidy away very easily.
Love My New Hoover! May 19, 2008 Ms. K. E. Campbell 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I had a big orange Vax machine before and since hurting my back I needed something smaller to carry up the stairs! Looked at the Dyson range but the wattage was much smaller and the price much higher!! Also too clunky to be stored easily under my stairs. Im happy with the suction and its so light and easy to carry and Ive now seen dirt from my carpets that my Vax never collected. Nice to be able to control the suction with the slide control that I can hoover my mats without dragging them round the room. Good value for money in my opinion and a sleeker model than any Dyson!
Pathetic May 10, 2008 Demyan (Nashville, Tennessee) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
Let me just list the grievances. 1. Weak suction, even with 'Max' dial setting. 2. Metal extension tube that constantly falls apart. 3. Hose that's shoddily attached to the the tube holder. In my vacuum, it came off after one month. 4. A supercharged cord rewind that can actually injure you. 5. An unstable design: the vacuum keeps falling sideways. Life is too short to spend it picking up and re-attaching vacuum tube parts; the device is shortly going to trash, and I am buying a Panasonic.
