Great coffee maker August 20, 2008 R. ROBINSON (Tunbridge Wells. Kent) Absolutely great. Makes coffee just as you would want it in a cafe. The milk frother is excellent. Gets milk really hot. Looks good too. Easy to use. The ideal way to make cappucinos. Can't recommend this machine enough.

Purchased March 2008. Delighted with product - smart looking and both the filtered coffee maker and expresso sides are easy to use. I decided on this coffee maker after reading amazon reviews. I initially thought my expresso water tank was damaged as twice water leaked onto my worktop after using. However I simply had not re-inserted the tank firmly enough into the coffee maker. I now fill the water tank keeping it within the coffee maker and have had no further leaks. I paid 74 and believe it money well spent. I would definitely recommend.
Great machine, grab it while you can. February 3, 2008 Robert Bartlett (London United Kingdom) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
I had read the reviews and decided that this was what I was looking for,but it was out of stock. Got the email when it was available again and bought it quick. You should not be disappointed with this item, it is well finished for the price and makes excellent coffee each and every time. The design makes for easy cleaning with just a wipe usually, had it a month now and would really recommend it as the best machine for under 75.
DeLonghi BCO255 Pumped Combi Coffee Maker February 2, 2008 V. Hedge (UK) 4 out of 7 found this review helpful
I purchased this combi coffee maker for my husband's birthday in december. As soon as it arrived the espresso water tank had a leak. I went on amazon website to check their return policy. I was amased how simple and effortless this process was. pressed a few buttons and DHL were there the following day to pick it up. I didn't have to do anything. 10 out of 10 to amazon for customer service. We did like this coffee maker, so we decided to get another one a month later, thinking that they can't be all faulty. It arrived sooner than we expected and it seemed to be all right untill a week or two later I noteced some water at the pack of it. The new machine had the same problem. We had the same fantastic experience returning the item (probably because we were still covered by the extended return policy during X-mas period). So, this coffe maker is a fantastic idea, but unfortunately it doesn't work. For that reason can't recommend it at all.
DeLonghi BCO255 coffee maker December 20, 2007 S. Brown (Staffs, UK) 20 out of 20 found this review helpful
I bought this unit based on the previous comments left on the amazon web site. I have been using it for around a month now and I am very pleased with its overall performance taking into account its price. I was originally looking at machines around 100-200, possibly in stainless but having looked at some of these in the shops, I was concerned at how poor quality the stainless steel actually was (thin as tin foil with nasty sharp edges). As I could neither afford nor justify buying a top end priced machine I decided that maybe I should avoid the mid priced stainless option go for an entry level priced machine instead. The DeLonghi BCO255 machine is mostly constructed of plastic but appears well made and designed. The controls are simple enough to use and the fittings are generally removable so that they can be kept clean. Both the filter and espresso makers are filled from the top and the coffee scoop stores neatly in the top as well. The machine is quite tall so you may find as I did that whilst it fits neatly under the kitchen wall cabinets I cannot open the lid fully without bringing it forward of the cupboard (a very minor point). The filter coffee maker uses paper filters and you only get two with the machine so buy some with the coffee maker. The espresso maker is acceptable but I do find that the green LED that tells you the steam/pressure is ready does go off rather quickly one you start using the pump. To be fair, once the machine is properly warmed up in accordance with the instructions (about 15 minutes) it only takes about a minute before the Pump is ready to deliver again. The milk frother works well and the nozzle is removable so that you can keep it clean. The kids love it as you can make frothy drinking chocolate as well as cappuccino. Overall, this machine is very good value for money.
