A waste of time! July 6, 2008 nmid (bucks, england) this clock is an absolute waste of time (excuse the pun!). the display is awful and can only be viewed from one precise angle otherwise it looks like you badly need glasses. the so called manual setting still continues to try and automatically reset itself every night to another time which is not even close to GMT. i am going to try and send mine back for a refund as its not useable in any way. dont waste your money!
A liability June 9, 2008 E. Webb (London) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This alarm clock may look nice but it's rubbish. It just cannot seem to work out what time zone you are in. I was using it in London, you would have thought that would be simple enough for it to establish a link but it couldn't. I tried for ages and it just wouldn't pick up a signal. I then set it manually, but even then it changes overnight so you end up waking up at the wrong time. I've ended up chucking it in the bin, because it can't even tell the right time! Don't bother!!!!!
Time and time again May 3, 2008 lesto (Kent, UK) I wrote this after reading previous reviews, I have travelled to four countries around the world since owning and its been perfect and when at home its in our guest room and it keeps perfect time and what more do you want. If as previous reviews there is a problem why not use guarentee and return. I have had a couple of this type of clock and this out peforms them.
Don't Buy; Doesn't Work February 2, 2008 A W Lee (Surrey United Kingdom) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Will not hold to UK time in Surrey, UK. I bought two of these to use at home and after 3 months will throw them both away and shop for somehting else. Both are equally unreliable and switch to CET frequently and unpredicatble but usually wiuthin a day or two of resetting. A useless product for me although I have another MSF radio-controlled clock which has worked fine for years so th esignal in my area must be OK for that one.
Waking up an hour early again -- I don't recommend this December 18, 2007 M. J. Rebholz (Guildford, UK) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I have to say this doesn't work well, UK or not. 1. As posted by another customer, the clock has a nasty habit of changing from UK time to European time, even though I have set what I need to set in English etc. It will change literally halfway through the night, so instead of my alarm going off at 6:50am it will do so at 5:50am as it has now reset itself back by an hour. 2. The display is abysmal. You can only view it at a particular angle (Seems like about 15 degrees to me - looking at it almost from the top down.)
