Best kettle I've had so far. Delighted with it. Safe because cool even after boiling, easy wipe clean finish, comfortable handle, easy fill, clear water fill guage, quick boil, good disc element and limescale filter which is easily cleaned. Swivel base. Couldn't wish for more.

Well the kettle looks and functions great. But after about si weeks or so it started leaking out of the base! I don't know if this is a hazzard or not but it seems to be a problem with this model because we exchanged it for a new one at the shop and the same thing happened again!

This kettle has a comfortable handle; fills easily through the spout; filters the water (if you need that); has an indicator light to tell you it is on; boils quickly and gives a nice, short little ping when it turns its self off (older owners may have difficulty hearing this as it is in the high frequency range of aural acuity). For me it was important that the minimum amount of water needed to fill it is equal to a large cup/beaker as I often make one cup of tea. When looking for a new kettle I noticed that many had a minimum of 0.5 litre - or two large cups, thus wasting a lot of hot water over time.
