Brilliant October 3, 2008 A happy house wife Excellent vacuum cleaner, it picks up so much better than the expensive bag less cleaner I bought last year. It is compact and light weight and cleaning the stairs is now so easy! This cleaner works equally well on hard floors and carpets. Some people have commented previously that they feel this cleaner is excessively noisy. Yes it is louder than some cleaners I've tried but no noisier than my bag less cleaner and quite frankly I don't particularly care because it does what it has been designed to do, it cleans. I would have no hesitation in recommending this cleaner and only wish I'd bought it sooner.
Much cleaner September 15, 2008 Maureen (Garstang, Lancashire) Great little cleaner. Gets up all my pet cats hair on medium power and lots more power in reserve if needed. Compact so takes up little room. Perfect for a small home or as a second cleaner for upstairs. Small and powerful. Great.
Awful July 14, 2008 Mr. Jozef W. Gojke (London) I am astonished by the number of positive reviews for this 'hoover'! I agree completely with H. Acton who states that it doesn't suck anything up unless you remove the tube and hoover using just the nozzle. I have pretty thin pile carpets and it just moves any fluff or dirt around the floor instead of actually sucking it up. Took me an hour to hoover a room approx. 8 x 8 metres - waste of money and wish i had put it towards a dyson! Avoid!!!
excellent - compact and light but powerful April 19, 2008 bi.zero1 (London, UK) I was looking for a bagged vacuum cleaner which is compact and light but powerful, and after reading reviews for different models I purchased the Electrolux Powerlite Z3318. I am very pleased with its performance and haven't even used the maximum suction power yet. The vacuum cleaner works equally well on carpets and on hard floors thanks to the dual purpose floor nozzle and is also great for cleaning corners and upholstery (using the included nozzle tools). Highly recommended.
The worst vacuum cleaner I have ever had April 3, 2008 H. Acton 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have had this vacuum cleaner for several months, and it is by far the worst I've ever had. Talk about a false economy! It simply doesn't suck. The only way to get it to do anything at all is by removing the long straight tube and using the little attachment on the end of the hose to vacuum inch by inch. Ludicrous!
