Well for 10 this is now an absolute bargain, in fact have bought 2 more for gifts. I have had no problem with it not slicing anything, maybe because I poke everything down with the tool included. It has tackled everything well, and makes a fantastic salad in minutes that looks quite impressive, and as the other poster said, is really easy to clean.

I love this gadget and find that it slices and grates beautifully. I can just whiz up a lovely salad in no time at all. I'm on the DASH diet for my high blood pressure and so I eat lots of veggies and this makes it all so much simpler. Yes, I can chop and grate with a knife, but this does it all so much better and quicker.
I can't recommend it highly enough.

i agree with the first reveiw some of the carrots do get stuck ,but ive found it to be mostly when using smaller veg.other than that great! the spinner works well and mainly the best thing is the ease of which it cleans within 5 minutes of using, and having used a food processor alot that a brilliant bonus! not just a gimmic, worth the extra over an ordinary salad spinner, would have got five stars if not for the veg problem but overall im happy

I brought this machine a couple of weeks ago and i'm not to happy with it.It only slices or grates half of the fruit or veg and you are left with the other half wedged between the motor and the slicer. And when you've made your salad half of it is water so it makes your salad soggy.I hope this helps.
