The first time I used this to clean my moderately soiled grill the scourer pad completely delaminated and came off in one piece. It only took about a dozen strokes. If not for this, it would be an excellent tool. I still use it for the scraper and wire brush, however, so it gets 2 stars. At least it is inexpensive....
