I have purchased Bush products before and found them to be substandard, 2 TV's busting before warranty expired.
However, this is great, easy to clean, quick and removable plates.
Filling depth is o.k.
I don't get why this product has been critized, I think being lazy means you cannot clean it, use a toothbrush to clean those small sections.

Had this now for a few weeks, and have used it quite a lot. It's a great machine, and i've had no problems like the other reviewer said with fillings etc. Great for the price!

I bought a Bush sandwich maker because it had removable plates at a reasonable price. I have had several types before but this one has to be the worst ever. The dished compartments are too shallow for even a minimal filling. Put a little too much filling into it and it leaks all over...worst of all to the rear where there are deep crevaces and the springs covering the flex and its impossible to get clean. I only used it twice and its clogged with festering food which I am totally unable to remove. Its only fit to take its place inside a wheely bin.
