does what is promised April 28, 2008 Saffron (Buckinghamshire, UK) works well, giving light soft mash with no lumps. Came with 3 inserts but no instructions, so pot luck to use the right insert for the right food...still, gave me a lovely smooth mash. You need to have reasonably strong hands to use it, and the first time i tried I got quite a lot of mash all over myself and the worksurface, but on the whole, perfectly decent.

My 8 year old son loves eating mash - he'd happily live on it all year! Now we have this super tool to make perfect mash each and every time it's wanted. No lumps; no mess; no waste; what more could you ask for? Just add some butter, milk, salt & pepper to taste and enjoy! We often like to make big fish pies - Sheppards' pies too - with loads of perfect creamy mash on top. Nothing else will do this job. And my son just loves taking a turn, to squish the potatoes through all those little holes!
Does exactly what it says on the tin! August 24, 2007 Harry's Nana (Hertfordshire UK) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
Good quality robust product. I bought it for potatoes and it does the job perfectly. However, it had 3 different blades and no instructions, so I can only guess what each is for. It would have helped if the item was boxed (arrived in plastic bag) with clear instructions for use. Apart from this, it is a useful piece of kit.
Fluffy and light mash that every kid will love. July 5, 2007 Mrs. Kerry Kydd (Dundee, Scotland, UK) 19 out of 19 found this review helpful
I got this after seeing Gordon Ramsay use one in the F Word, when he made his cottage pie. Anyway, its great, makes light work of mashing potatoes, and lots of fun for the kids to do, and as a result will eat their tatties! Also good for mashing carrots, swede and even citrus fruit and berries to get the juice. Durable high quality stainless steel kitchen tool. Worth every penny.
