DON`T BOTHER BUYING THIS June 15, 2008 A. Milne Used the Kitchen Kraft pasta machine twice and then one of the rollers distorted making it unusable for making pasta. Very disappointed. Expect something to last more than a couple of times.
2 times unlucky?! June 2, 2008 Ms. C. Roehricht (UK) This has to be the WORST kitchen appliance I have ever used, and definitely deserves a no-star rating. Originally received as a gift, the pasta maker broke the second time I used it. I contacted the manufacturers, Kitchen Craft, who offered to send me a replacement, so I waited for it to arrive. And I waited. Then I waited some more. Eventually, 3 months later my elusive replacement turned up. And after just one use, guess what happened?! Yep, the stupid thing broke. I won't be wasting my time trying to get another replacement - I'll just be buying an Imperia one instead!
Absolutely useless March 8, 2008 M. Craig (Oxford, UK) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Well, the first one we used broke on the first attempt at making pasta. The 2nd one (we bought it locally) broke on the 4th attempt. Utterly crap, not worth wasting your money on.
ABSOLUTE RUBBISH February 16, 2008 Pasta Man (UK) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I managed to use mine once before it broke. Looks cheap and it is not well made. I only paid 7.50 for mine in a Lakeland sale so don't feel too bad about it, but if I paid 20 I would be quite aggrieved. Buy something more robust; The Imperia has excellent reviews, it seems people buy a cheap one, then buy an Imperia which is what I shall be doing!
Budget Pasta roller! February 3, 2008 C. Ellis (uk) 1 out of 5 found this review helpful
I like this little device! I love cooking and this was a birthday gift i have used more than any other! it couldn't be easier, 100g pasta flour and 1 egg per person. bung it in your food processor, mold it to a dough and your away. Taglietelle and spagetti is simple. I have even made ravioli with my homemade pasta! securing the device to the kitchen counter is somewhat of a pain (our counters dont over hang so i have to secure it in a drawer!) and is sometimes not great. but this is a budget machine, if you want one with a suction bottom they are more expensive i have seen.
