Note: I'd award this product an absolute zero, or even negative points, if Amazon's rating system allowed such a thing.
I can't believe that Bodum are supposed to have such a great reputation for glasses (they even win design awards!) if this is the best they can do.
The quality is extremely poor indeed, considering these glasses cost 10 *each* (2 for 20). IMHO these things should be categorised as disposable glasses, and sold for no more than 1 each, such is their poor quality.
I bought these based on reviews here, and Bodum's "reputation", to start replacing tumblers that we've lost or broken over the years, but now I wish I hadn't bothered.
I have a lot of glasses, ranging from very expensive lead crystal to cheap tumblers made in Thailand, but even the cheapest glasses I own are better than these. Bodum's are half the weight as even the smaller and cheaper "Thailand" glasses (indicating thinner and therefore more fragile glass); they're full of very noticeable "flaws" (which means they'll break sooner rather than later); and they lose their sheen after only a few seconds of being removed from the packaging. I'd have to question if this is really even glass at all - I have to wonder, given how dull the surface becomes, so quickly. I don't think I've ever seen any glass product this cheap and nasty.
The first batch I ordered didn't even survive delivery. They were smashed to pieces in transit, despite the bubble-wrap padding and the packaging being undamaged. I could tell without unwrapping them that they were broken, since they were literally in bits, so I didn't get the opportunity to evaluate them at all the first time around.
The replacement batch arrived today, and I can tell you that they're going straight back ... this time for a refund rather than a replacement.
I won't be buying Bodum products ever again.

I bought these glasses many months ago and used them daily. I loved the way the glasses kept the hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold. The design is beautiful and there is a kind of 'cool factor' with the way the liquids are suspended in the glass.
However, even though I tried to be very careful, they both were broken in short time. I was careful not to bang the inside of the glass with a spoon. I carefully washed them by hand at first,but soon discovered they were sturdy enough for the dishwasher.
The first one broke after a couple of months while I was putting dishes in the dishwasher. I hit it against another glass and it broke very easily. The second broke when I knocked it over on the counter.
So, if you are not a clumsy person like me, you will enjoy these glasses greatly. I think I have to order some more now.

I love when a good plan works! This design just works wonderfully. The glasses not only look and feel very stylish, but they do exactly what it says on the box. Your tea/coffee stays hot longer, and yet you can carry your glass around immediately without burning your fingers.
And it looks just sooooo cool, like the liquid is suspended in the air inside the glass (that's the geek in me, talking).
I've put them in the dishwasher and they came out fine.
