Tefal Vitesse Diamond KettleOctober 2, 2008 Flange Master(Bristol UK) We liked the look of this kettle and we liked the concealed element inside. The pop up lid was also an attractive feature. The kettle was noisy but the most disappointing factor was the rust spots inside which appeared after just a few weeks of use. After getting a replacement, the second kettle began to rust around the rim. There didn't seem much point in trying for a third so we chose a different brand.

Purchased my Tefal vitesse kettle just under 2 years ago along with an Avanti toaster. The toaster does not toast a full slice of bread, and the kettle lid jams open. I was prepared to live with the poor toaster, but the kettle (which was one of the most expensive)should not have failed just after the years guarantee had run out. I have been pleased with Tefal products in the past, but no longer. The old Cookworks 5 kettle will have to come out again.
