The shine on this lighter is amazing, like looking in a darkened mirror. I got this because I got fed up with trying to use those disposable lighters which would go out or not even light in the slightest breeze. This lights every time and even in quite forceful winds if u cover it right. The picture doesn't look much like the actual lighter, it's much shinier and almost greyish in colour, but I think that's because of the polish on it.
Excellent lighter which also has a lifetime guarantee!

This is my first Zippo lighter and quite frankly, I'm amazed. The finish is so highly polished (though product photo doesn't do it much justice).
I would recommend this zippo to anybody who wants a lighter to last.

I've always used Zippo lighters. To me they are the ultimate. Simple design, great ergonomics, reliable, windproof and with the most satisfying clunk-click you can get. When I saw this one on Amazon I knew it wasn't a design I had owned before, having had all the classic brass and chrome ones over the years. I thought it was going to be metallic black, instead it is the most beautiful gunmetal finish and I'm glad it isn't. You think it's going to be fingerprint smudge hell, but the surface is so highly polished that marks just evaporate away. This lighter's a real gem if, like me, you treat the non-PC pastime of smoking as more than just a dirty habit.
