The knives look good and are well balanced BUT of the two knives used so far - one has regularly ended up with obvious rust spots in several places after emerging from the dishwasher. The instructions that come with the knife set also warn that the knives can show evidence of rust.
Given the Amazon description for this knife set says that it's made from stainless steel and its dishwasher safe, I've decided to return the set for a refund.

A nice-looking set of knives with a sharpener, a wooden block and a hachoir - great for chopping up fresh herbs quickly and evenly.
The knives seem solid, are sharp and come with a 25-year guarantee. A good purchase for this price.
