I am very pleased with this washing machine which I have had for 2 years. It is very quiet in use, sometimes I think it has switched itself off but it is still going as it is so quiet. It spins well and cleans well. It has a delay timer feature so you can programme it to start washing just before you wake up so that the washing is ready for you to hang up when you come down. It has a delicates programme that is excellent - I put my dry cleaning only items in and have only had one item shrink out of about 50 items so that saves me lots of money on dry cleaning bills. I also use the delicate setting to clean my child's soft toys and slippers and they come up like new. The cold water only setting is excellent for getting blood stains out of washing. It also has a stain setting which is excellent for getting out stubborn stains like grass stains. On the down side the outlet pipe is made of plastic (hence the quiet in use) so you must make sure that no foreign bodies get left in your pockets - I left in a 20p coin which scored the outlet pipe and knocked it out of kilter so I ended up having to fork out for a new motor but all modern machines are made of plastic nowadays. The washing powder/conditioner drawer furs up easily and is a little fiddly to clean, although it is easily removeable to wash. The washing machine does need to be put on an empty boil cycle at regular intervals (twice a year) or it begins to smell when you open the door and bits of black mould begin to appear in your washing. This was due to repeatedly washing on a cool 40 degree wash I was told by my service man when he put in a new motor and this applies to all washing machines. For the above reasons I have given this a 4 star rating and not a 5 star rating but overall I think this is an excellent machine and would recommend it.
