The pet hair attachment is a godsend June 18, 2008 W. Nelson (UK) This is nothing like the weedy car vacs I've used in the past. The included rotating hair brush is a great idea and makes short work of cat hairs. It's relatively expensive but it actually works!
Quiet and efficient November 11, 2007 Mr. Simon Sherlock (Cheshire, UK) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
We've owned countless dustbusters in the past and they all seem to die round about the 12 month mark, either by wearing out (I guess my wife scrubs too hard when doing the kitchen floor) or just becoming so bad at picking up dirt/holding a charge that they are useless. We've tried alternatives to Black & Decker and been equally disappointed (not tried the Dyson but the battery life is so poor we're not likely to). We've only owned this one a few months and it is superb. It's quiet (some other dust busters are horribly loud and the frequency of the noise drove me mad) and the cyclonic action means the suction is good enough to use for real jobs, rather than just the odd patch of dried mud and crumbs in the kitchen. Time will tell whether it lasts, but so far so (very) good.
Too weak September 1, 2007 zivi browning (london) 5 out of 23 found this review helpful
I had a similar dustbuster that looked just like this one, but was grey instesd of white. The thing was mostly a living nightmare but it did have its moments of glory. It could finish the car [just about] but by the last seat or two it was just wirring away and not sucking up much of anything. It took a long time to recharge and it had a loose catch that had to be slammed shut allmost every use. It was quite frustrating but got all of its jobs done with flying bits of dust. An overpriced yet basic dustbuster.
Big improvement on previous models March 16, 2006 Mr. Frj Walden (Oxford England) 55 out of 56 found this review helpful
I have owned a few dustbusters in the past and this one is easily the best. The older models tended to lose suction as soon as debris entered the collector. Also most of them direct the exhuasted dirty air right into your face. This model has a clear collector and the cyclonic action seems to give it more suck. I also like the fact that the 2 tools that come with it are stored on the machine so you dont lose them. I would have given it 5 stars if it had the wheel to shake the filters clean from the outside like its bigger brothers the 9v and 12v cyclonic dustbusters. Overall this model performs very well and probably better more "powerful" machines without the cyclonic action. Keep one in the kitchen to collect those crumbs!
