Awful January 23, 2008 Noise (UK) 1 out of 10 found this review helpful
If nothing is being played, a loud static hiss starts about 1 to 2 minutes after. This effectively makes the headphones useless.
Excellent wireless headphones January 17, 2008 M. Chapman (UK) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Excellent sound quality, no audible hiss, work all over the house with no dropouts. Only thing to be aware of is they are very definitely an "open" rather than "closed" design. You can still hear external sounds and others can hear the music you're listening to.
Sennheiser RS110 RF Wireless Headphone December 11, 2007 flipper (london UK) 20 out of 20 found this review helpful
I would like to echo Vishal's comments above; these are excellent headphones with two faults - no rechargeable batteries and a loose headband. When I first heard the sound quality of these, I virtually gasped at the superior quality in comparison to the similar-priced Panasonic headphones I had previously owned. The lighter weight and the difference in bass sound took a bit of getting used to but after 2-3 days I began to think these headphones were flawless. Though I would have preferred a rechargeable system built-in, this did not concern me since I had bought rechargeable AAA batteries separately. Six weeks later the headphones slipped on to the ground whilst wearing them (I had merely turned my neck whilst standing). There was a slight loss in sound quality and a faint hissing sound. I initially put this down to the frequency-control scroll button on the phones having been jolted. But after constantly trying to re-adjust, the hissing continued. After time this hissing disappeared but I am now unsure whether the sound quality remains as good as it initially was, which is highly frustrating. I still happily using the phones but now with slight considered caution, fearful they may take a great fall once again. Overall I would advise someone looking for a set of wireless headphones to perhaps look into the advanced Sennheiser models (RS120, RS130, RS140). To my knowledge, they are the same design but they have a better distance coverage, a self recharging unit and hopefully even better sound quality (of course, for a slightly dearer price). A simple word of advice though, don't drop them... I have had to learn the hard way.
Rechargables? October 10, 2007 mickeyboyz 24 out of 24 found this review helpful
A very good pair of headphones, not too heavy, well padded and comfortable, even over extended periods of use. I've even worn these headphones to the bottom of the garden 200-300 feet away from the hi-fi, and the sound has still been brilliant. One problem though, rechargable batteries, for the price I'm paying, I expect rechargable batteries plus an onboard charger, but non included, you get 2 AAA batteries which last about ten hours and that's it! so I bought my own instead. You have volume and tune controls on one side, and on/off on the other. Sennheiser do make brilliant headphones, and if you are looking for great phones at a great price, I would advise you to buy these.
Great headphones October 12, 2006 V. Gupta (Windsor, UK) 37 out of 37 found this review helpful
Excellent quality headphones at a good price! Great range with good battery life. Works around a lot of wireless equipment with no problems. I have only two minor issues about this product, The headphones can open up on the band around the head which makes them slip a little. This could have been addressed to have been a more adjustable strap. The headset could have been incorporated into the base unit so the batteries could charge when not in use. Other than that, a product that does what it says on the tin.
