Good at first... July 2, 2008 andyp (UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
At first I loved this product. I bought it mainly for aesthetic reasons, and it does look great. And it feels well built. However, it's now developed a fault with a number keys going dead. Very frustrating. Also, I think it's a big design flaw to have hot buttons on the edges of the keyboard. Every time I move the damned thing I start up Windows Media Player.
Superb! June 11, 2008 Mr. Cleon W. White (North Wales) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I had been through a succession of wireless keyboards from local shops, all of which proved unsatisfactory for one reason or another. Finally in frustration I resorted to what should have been my first port-of-call instead of my last; Amazon. I checked out the customer reviews and selected this one as a clear favourite. Quite simply, it is superb. If I have any gripes at all about it it is that it is American layout and not UK. (No Euro or Pound sign, and the "Ins" key is in a strange place at the bottom of the number pad). The mouse has "forward" and "back" buttons, but instead of being in the usual location, under the thumb, they are behind the wheel, but that only takes a few moments to get used to. I am a computer programmer, so I give these things a lot harder use than many other people do, and after about a month it has not given me a moment's concerns or played up in any way. One quickly gets to appreciate the keys for controling the media player, as well as the Additional "launch" functions on each of the function keys. If you are looking for a wireless keyboard and mouse combo, look no further.
Delighted June 11, 2008 Chrissy (London, UK) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is a really excellent product which we use with a new 17" Dell Laptop. We use it in conjuction with the Logitech Alto Express Laptop stand (also excellent). Could not recommend it more highly and it has made a lot of difference to the general ease of use.
Great kit June 5, 2008 Robert W. Fletcher (UK) A smart good looking keyboard. The keys are smaller than my previous keyboard but they have a firm touch and I will soon get used to them. The signal is instant and things have improved since I last had a wireless set up with Microsoft kit.The mouse reacts well and is even more responsive than my USB Microsoft mouse. The kit comes with four duracell batteries. If you don't want the programable keys, just plug it in the USB and away you go. Use the software provided to use the other keys. I am delighted with the kit and highly recommend it. Jump in and fill your boots.
Direction Of Keys! June 5, 2008 zx50 (Durham) I really like this keyboard, but the direction they have placed the keys in is a bit of a pest really. The heys have been placed in an away from you position. In my opinion, they should have either been placed towards you, or, in a directly up position. It's only really this that bothers me though, because everything else is likeable about this keyboard. I gave this keyboard only 4 stars and not 5 stars for this reason. I would have really loved it if they had made the keys a bit more flatter as well, but that's nothing really. Anyway, apart from the direction of the keys issue, for me this keyboard is pretty good.
