Comfortable, accurate, easy-to-use and well-designed. September 5, 2008 Mad Dan (Surrey, UK) I have RSI, so have tried a number of mice over the years. I have been using the Marble Mouse for two days, and I'm converted! Not only is it easy to get used to, it is very comfortable to use and I can already feel an improvement in my RSI. The mouse/trackball has a USB connection, with a PS/2 adaptor. I'm using it through a PS/2 switchbox, so the two extra mouse buttons don't do anything, and I could really do with a scrollwheel, but even with these limitations, the Logitech Marble Mouse is the best, most comfortable pointing device that I have used!
Won't work with Vista Home Basic August 31, 2008 Mrs. J. Cotton (uk) This is the second Logitech model mouse I have bought in the last couple of weeks. Neither of them will work on Vista Home Basic either with or without the software provided and on Logitech's website. They both work fine on XP, so I have kept one for my desk top and given one to my daughter. Unfortunately, Logitech seems to be the only manufacturer of trackball mice now, but have offered no help. I am currently using Trust's Ami Pro handheld mouse which I love but is wearing out, and is no longer being sold. I wish I could find a solution!
Awesome July 26, 2008 Mr. P. Leung (United Kingdom) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I didn't buy this off Amazon but I've been using this mouse for years. Its incredible though moving it with your finger takes a little getting used to. Its great for FPS gaming too, because you can spin around as much as you like whereas a traditional mouse you would have to keep taking it off the mat and placing it down again. I dominate in Unreal Tournament 2004 with this.
Good trackball June 20, 2008 B. G. Dore (UK) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I've got three of these on various computers at work and at home. They're great! Just get it out the box, plug it in, and it'll work. It comes with setup software but there's no need to load it really. You should get loads of trouble free use. All you need to do is take the marble ball out and give it a wipe now and then. Once you've got used to using a trackball you'll never go back to a mouse.
Must Buy !!! May 16, 2008 Capella (Hertfordshire, England) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Took some time to get used to from using a conventional mouse. I've been using this for 2 years now and still loving it. I use it with a laptop, since you dont need a flat surface to move it around like a mouse, its very convinient, plus it had fallen off my bed/table/chair and still works!!! The little gray buttons lets you browse back and forward, very convenient. The body design gives very good hand support. It has also taken away the dark spot under the wrist caused by mouse/table friction. =) My only regret is that they don't have a wireless version.
