best mouse i've had July 6, 2008 Mr. L. S. Hayes and trust me i've been through alot. so lets get to the review shall we? ok first of its comfortable. if your right handed it sits perfectly in your hand, no problems what so ever, the slight rubberyness of the mouse means its easy to gip to so your not fumbling with your mouse all the time. Not only that but left handed people wont be having such a hard time with it either a close friend of mine, who is left handed, went out and bought one purly on the basis of using mine for 5 mins!! now that says alot if you ask me. buttons, well you have the left and right click, as every mouse does (unless your using a mac...) aswells as the basic scroll wheel. but then you have the application changerjust under the wheel which when pressed brings up a screen with all your running apps, cool huh? very handy if your using more than one screen. then there are four other buttons, two on the side which can be used as forwards and backwards buttons to navigate through your websites easyer insted of going right to the top of the page every time, and the last two which dont acctually do anything till you program them. Oh yeah sorry i forgot to mention, every single one of these buttons are customiseable so you can have it just the way you llike it when fragging n00bs in CS:S or just surfing the net. if you ask me, forget all the other more expensive mice out there. If you want a cheep(ish) stylish, customiseable mouse, get this, its handy no matter what your doing with it!!!
Almost Perfect April 24, 2008 James Sedarati (England) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Super fast mouse with great ability to switch speed settings, say you want slower speed for sniping. Great feel fits your hand well, back and forward buttons could be a little bigger and this mouses button layout will take some getting used to but overall a great gaming mouse. Main fault with this item is it's middle click on the scroll wheel which takes more pressure than most, you do get used to it and it does get looser. Mouse feels sturdy and well made and looks a lot better in person.
Generally good, but poor scroll wheel March 17, 2008 Anonymous 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Having paid the premium for a high-performance mouse I am disappointed that the scroll wheel tends to jerk back one line when scrolling, which is quite annoying. This adds to the wheel's general fragile feel. Apart from that it works as expected.
Rubbish!! March 7, 2008 K. Lawrence 0 out of 5 found this review helpful
A soon as I installed the software, it started to lag the game I was playing, so I uninstalled it and it still lagged so I switched to a different mouse and the lag disappeared completely. I will never purchase any logitech products ever again and will be expecting my money back.
Fantastic! March 5, 2008 Luke Sherratt (England) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've been using this mouse for about 30 minutes on CoD4 and it's absoutly incredible how many extra kills you get. When reading other reviews about people saying how much of a difference it makes, I was a bit spectical and though it wouldn't make much of a difference but bought it anyway seeing as I needed a new mouse.. ...and WOW, the results are amazing - The accuracy and control on this thing is fantastic. The 1800dpi is extreme (I've set mine to 1000dpi and is plenty for a FPS like CoD4), but nether-the-less, it's there if you need it. Also, if I do suddenly pick up a sniper and start using it, the in-game sensitivity switching is such a great idea as it makes aiming with the sniper so much more easier with a lower dpi setting. Overall, if you want/need a new mouse, get this one as it's fab. It's also great for normal desktop use and glides perfectly my wooden desk (plus it's light)!
