Smaller than it looks! July 19, 2008 Julikat (London UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I loved the look of this mouse, it's very cute and stylish. But sadly, it was simply too small to use for long periods of time. I like to think I have normal size female hands, but I found myself scrunching them up to get a good grip. Had I used it for any longer, I think I would have developed permanent 'claws'! Performance was good for the few weeks I used it, fast, accurate, and not fussy about surface at all. I've always found wireless mice freeze on me after a week, never to recover again, but that wasn't the case with the Belkin. If only it had been a little bigger, it would have been perfect. To get an idea of the 'life' size - take about a third off what you imagine it to be, and that's about how big it is! I knocked off one star because the size could possibly be an issue for people with smaller than average hands.
Excellent little mouse May 23, 2008 C. O'BRIEN (Somerset, UK) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I agree with the previous positive reviews of this little mouse. It is a good quality mouse, feels solid and nicely tactile. The buttons click pleasingly and the changing LED colours are very pretty to look at. The mouse is small, but not as tiny as others I've used. You can overcome the cramp problems by covering the whole mouse with your hand and clicking with the whole of your finger rather than having the tips of your fingers on the buttons. An ideal mouse for using with your laptop. I find that I can use the mouse productively even with the mouse resting on the laptop itself (I have an Acer which has a lot of empty casing at the front)- perfect for when you're lounging on that hotel bed watching the telly at the same time. Don't be tempted by the cheaper mini-mouse offerings, they are poor quality and need constant unplugging/replugging to keep them working. This one comes with a lifetime guarantee so you can't go wrong.
Looks great but I have just sent my second one back April 11, 2008 Slightly Huffy of Hove 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
The mouse is very pretty and tactile with a soft touch coating that makes it very easy to hold. However, it is very small - I have a small hand and I find it difficult to hold for extended periods. More importantly I have just sent my second one back as the wiring was faulty. Belkin customer care have been very helpful and sent the first replacement without even asking me to send mine back, but this time I have been asked to send the mouse back first before they send a replacement. Each time the mouse lasted no more than 3 months. I am hoping that they will replace it with a different mouse but there is non-retractable glowing mouse Belkin on Amazon that seems to have the same problem so I hoping I don't get that!
Excellent - takes little space but does the job November 6, 2007 skg (UK) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
The retractable cable takes little space on your desk but gives a good relief from using the touch pad (of your laptop). You can ask for hardly anything more!
Excellent October 20, 2007 Mr. P. Jones (Staffordshire Moorlands, U.K.) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Just started using this little device on a laptop. Excellent piece of kit and far easier to use than the built in touchpad pointing device. Just plug it into a usb port and away you go. As has been already mentioned the cable spooling facility is great and saves the tangle that inevitably happens when storing away in a laptop bag. Smaller than a "conventional" mouse therefore takes a bit of getting used to, again mentioned in another review begins to cramp the fingers after prolonged use. Recommended.
