not bad at all! October 10, 2008 T. M. O'malley Have only just got the item, worked perfectly out the box first time. admittedly have not had enough time for any faults to develope but i'm happy so far. i bought this to use with my PS3, it says on the instuction (what little there is of them) that it will only work with certain OSs, but that doesn't seem o be a problem so far. I read as many other reviews as i could be bothered and took into consideration that most said it worked fine with the platstation and it does, if yours doesn't, you probably have a faulty unit, and let's face it, you bought it over the internet for 30, what do you expect? there are a few little niggles but they are fairly forgivable, they have been mentioned in other reviews and are valid, however if you have an issue with the positioning of the FN/Ctrl keys you must have some mighty fat little fingers! It's not the best, most wonderful item you will ever aquire, but you have think what your needs are. I haven't given it 5 stars because it isn't perfect, but it's a simple, little, cheap, user friendly device that does what i need it to. would recommend for ps3 users, but it doesn't do everything ie control the zoom very well and i seem to be missing more key strokes than usual. cursor has jumped around a little too but i woul have taken me days to type this with the pad.
ps any mispellings are the rsultof th keboard. hmm
Mixed September 27, 2008 Mr. N. Mehta (BRITAIN) Brilliant while it worked. I used it home and work without any problems. 14 months on and the down arrow key is constantly on. I hardly used the keyboard.
Keyboard for PS3 August 28, 2008 L. J. McElwee (Glossop, Derbys, UK) Bought this to make browsing through PS3 easier. It did the trick. Nice and compact too so doesn't look too clumsy in living room. Excellent.
Nice but dodgy August 27, 2008 S. T. Chennells (London) The keyboard is nice looking and the touchpad is fine once you get used to it. However, it's a pain to type on as often keystrokes are missed out. I can't touch type, so I often miss these! More annoyingly, the cursor jumps back to the beginninng of lines of even into the middle for no apparrent reason. So, you can end up tping garbled nonsense which you then have to go back and correct. Possibly it's beacuse I have a faulty keyboard, I don't know. But I do know I need to get a replacement after only 8 months (it's been playing up for quite a while now though)
If you own a ps3 THEY DON'T ALWAYS WORK!! August 22, 2008 Mr. Andrew P. Surtees (midlands,UK) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have the latest 40gb PS3 and looked long and hard before deciding to buy this keyboard for use when web browsing on the ps3. IT DOES NOT WORK!! Nothing happens when I plug the dongle in and the ps3 does not recognize it even being there. Tried every available usb on the PS3. I then tried it on my laptop just to make sure it works and bingo, worked first time. No problems. Have rung PS3 helpline and they say IT MUST NOT BE compatible with the latest model/software update. ANY IDEAS PEOPLE?? Thanks (I will be sending it back)
