 Great Mouse - but not new! July 7, 2008

I can't fault the mouse - it connects effortlessly, looks very nice and works a charm. It came with 2 good batteries too, so was ready to go as soon as I got it. No problems there.
However... When I order a 'new' product, I expect it to come with the original packaging. This never - it came stuffed into an envelope with the batteries. It almost feels 'back of a lorry' when this happens.
So - 5 stars for the product, 1 star for the 'new' aspect and packaging, gives it 3 stars.

5 star product, comes with batteries. Very ergonomically designed, perfect size, looks great, no dongles or wires. Connects to bluetooth easily.
Would highly recommend this product.

Having used a Microsoft mouse on various desktop PC's I decided to order this model to use with my Dell Inspiron 1720 with onboard Bluetooth.
Setting up was a breeze and works flawlessly. Unlike some of the reviewers I do like the click on the wheel, it just seems more positive in use. Just shows it's a matter of taste.
I wish though that Amazon would tighten up on their advertisers. Like others I ordered this item from BC UK expecting a retail boxed item and got the OEM pack which actually should only be supplied with a PC. Not that bothered but didn't get the mouse case which did matter.
On complaining was directed to the small print hidden on the advertisers page showing item was OEM. Couldn't find it otherwise. I don't expect to have to search when buying something from a site I use and trust!

I bought this for use with my Sony TZ laptop. It paired in moments and works perfectly. I don't understand the comments about it not being a full retail item - this was in the usual full MS packaging. No issues with it being "clicky" either.
Very responsive, easy to install, works well I'm very pleased with it. The only issue there may be for other buyers is that it is on the small side - if you have very large hands it may not be ideal for you.

Not sure what others have said about the wheel being "clicky" ... mine seems absolutely fine ... pretty much the same as any other wheeled mouse that I have ever used.
Paired up with my bluetooth device in a few seconds and works very precisely but smoothly.
Excellent...... and delivered next day by Amazon.
Not cheap but it feels as if it will last a while.
