I ordered this because I wanted a cheap and cheerful keyboard for a second office. However, this keyboard is surprisingly comfortable to use, and is very well built for the price.
Good points:
- The keys have a nice slightly roughened surface, which feels nice to type on.
- The keys are about half the height of a standard keyboard. Macally say this is to make the keyboard easier to store, which sounds silly. In fact the reduced height means that your fingers don't have to move so far to register a keystroke, so you can type faster.
- Built-in volume, eject and power keys that work under Mac OS X without any drivers.
Bad points:
- There is a slight incline to the keyboard, even with the riser feet flattened. I prefer a completely flat keyboard. But then I'm very fussy.
