Good to start with, quickly deteriorated! April 14, 2008 L. White (Bedfordshire, UK) I brought this Mouse back in January (3 months ago) and at first, was very please with it. Its very portable and works well. However, it has now stopped working. So not really good value if it only lasts 3 months! Very annoying!
Good little portable mouse February 26, 2007 P. Edwards Very neat size. In my opinion the right compromise between smallness for portability and bigness for comfort. Cable retraction is very neat, though can take a few tugs to get it to fully retract. The slight annoyance is that on mine the 4 pads that contact the surface are not quite level, so the mouse does not sit squarely on the pads when on a flat desk, but has a slight wobble. It doesn't impare performance at all, but is just slightly annoying. Other than that, it's a very welcome accessory when I'm working on client sites.
Shockingly Good December 13, 2004 Mr. A. S. Wheeler (Hull) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I bought this because I needed a mouse for my laptop, I was tired of trying to use the touch pad thing to move my pointer around the screen and so I looked for a cost effective solution to my problems. I came across this mouse and thought, 'Well, even if it is rubbish, I've only payed a small amount for it'. When I got it, I was pleasantly surprised at its functionality. The cord that attaches to the computer is very cool especially because it stores away in the side of the mouse. Movement pickup is very good, and the mouse is very small :P I wouldn't recommend this to anyone with HUGE fingers, but I would to people who needed a decent mouse, at a decent price.
Great little travel companion March 23, 2003 Mr. Neil D. Sawers (Edinburgh) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I loved this mouse - I got mine through Toshiba so it was branded to match my laptop which was great. Always elicited comment from fellow workers, great for putting away quickly in my laptop bag and because of the retractable cord, ideal for many work spaces. However, I'm afraid mine has gone to the great Computer accessory bin in the sky as I pulled the lead right off! I miss it terribly!
Great gadget that doesn't fill your bag February 4, 2003 Christopher Owens (Cambridge) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is designed for laptop users: the cable hides away in the case when not in use, and the mouse is pretty compact. Altogether it takes up very little precious space in the computer bag, and the cable retract works well.Responses to other reviews: yes it's small, that's a feature not a bug! Jittery cursor: I get this very occasionally - I assumed it was a Win2k or driver problem - but not enough to cause a problem for me (but then I don't often do work requiring precision cursor movement). Loud/coarse wheel: I suppose so, but I hadn't really noticed - again, I'd say it wasn't a great problem. Possible problems: the cable seems very thin (in order to retract) - one wonders if it will stand the test of time. The retractable cord could be seen as a mixed blessing: the hassle of winding up the cord is roughly equivalent to the hassle of wrapping the cord round the mouse as you ordinarily would, but it does keep things tidy. Overall, I'm happy with the mouse: it works well, is very portable, and there isn't a great cost premium over other products.
