Just the job April 5, 2008 A. Davies (Wales, UK) Having just bought a laptop I missed the convenience of having a scrolling wheel. When I saw this mouse I thought I'd give it a go, it doesn't cost much so not much to loose. Personally I love it being so small and retractable cables are also a good thing in my opinion. It always comes with a little bag to keep it in as well. As I mainly use it for scrolling the size isn't an issue, but some people might find it a bit awkward to use, especially if you are use to PC sized ones. The only problem I have is that the left button isn't always responsive. I find that I have to push down hard to get it to actually register. The left button works perfectly though. For that reason I have given it 4 stars rather than 5.
Fought over in our house August 22, 2006 E. MCCRORY (Belfast NI) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I'm actually logged in to buy another of this, & seeing the mixed reviews, thought I'd add my tuppence worth. Personally I love my little mouse, being a woman with relatively small hands I have no issue with the mouse being small, in fact I prefer it to some bigger mice. I have had my mouse for over 2 years, & use it regularly with my work laptop, without any issues. My husband (an IT technie) derides it, & has declared it too small for him. The reason I am buying another one is that my 2 year son has claimed ownership of it, as he uses it to play his "Dora" games on our home PC. The mouse is ideal for kids - he can happily use it by himself.

I bought this mini optical mouse for my brother at xmas, thinking it would be perfect for his new laptop..........i was wrong. The buttons are horrible and i think i could have done a better job at putting it together myself. It feels like a VERY CHEAP AND HORRIBLE KIDS TOY! If you have any sense at all, take my advice and STAY WELL AWAY from this disgrace of a product.
A toy, not for regular use January 21, 2006 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
The Targus Mini-Mouse was a handy, compact alternative to the touch-pad on my laptop but only for occasional use when travelling. I found it uncomfortable if used for more than 2 hours at a time. After 8 months the left-click button stopped working.
horrible little thing October 6, 2005 4 out of 7 found this review helpful
It's just too small. Like holding a boiled sweet between your index fingers. Also the buttons don't make a satisfying click like a good mouse should, they make a dry little tap. I will probably use it for a while though as it does not run on batteries. And the cable retracter is fun. You can pull it out to its limit and watch it fly run across the table just like a real mouse.
