 Ok, but not what I wanted March 26, 2008

Given that this keyboard and mouse set are reasonably priced, it still has a number of flaws that make this product a 2 star.
Sometimes when I use a shortcut key combo it does not work (e.g. Ctrl + C) so I need to do it again (and sometimes again) to get it to work even if the keyboard is right next to the receiver.
The mouse is okay, but I wanted to use my own (more expensive) logitek mouse. What a mistake! In many of the applications I use, the mouse pointer would not changed from text mode to pointer mode and I had to restart the application over and over. I also got warnings that the mouse is running low of power. Try reinstalling drivers; no luck.
I recommend that if you purchase this item that you use both the keyboard and mouse together otherwise buy something else.

I found the key board poor shift button sticking and some times have to press buttons twice and thats from new The mouse is so poor and doesnt always work you have to click a few times overall i give it 3 out of ten my old medion keyboard and mouse was twice as good and half the price

Easy to install although the CD didn't work and I had to phone the Microsoft Helpline and they talked me through downloading the software from their website. I really like the keyboard although am somewhat disappointed with the mouse. My old wireless mouse had forward/back buttons on the side which I used all the time. Generally I am impressed with the product though and would recommend it highly

the setup took less than a minute all you do is;
- install software
- plug in reciever
- press 3 buttons !
Done !!

ive had no problems using this, its been a lot easier typing and naviagting on the mouse then previouse mouse and keyboards !!

i did not find this a very user friendly item i have it installed on my computer and it runs through my plasma tv for my media centre. i find i have to sit right near the tv. which i think is a joke when the packaging states up to 6 feet from source. thats a joke im currently sitting 2 foot away. i am dissapointed at its capabilities and i think microsoft being as big as they are should be able to produce something much better. i also run the latest vista on a new computer with all the latest drivers so it is in my eyes not acceptable. really think about it and make sure you are sure before you buy.
