Laggy mouse, and short range communication February 24, 2008 Simon Mcclure (Manchester, UK) I managed to find this wireless set on offer, so I thought I'd grab it. They keyboard is ok, although the keys are laptop quality, the base itself is quite thick. The mouse isn't as great though, as it takes a split second for the movement to be registered. Not a problem I'd imagine for the casual PC user, but when it comes to design and gameplay, this is no good. In addition, they set has a very very short wireless range. Having each item on the desk poses no problem, however having the keyboard on my lap at the desk causes a few keystrokes to be unregistered. Using this thing from across the room is totally out of question. I'd recommend this set to a casual PC user who's just looking for some way to free some wires. If you're an internet or gaming addict, or you use the PC for serious productivity, look elsewhere.
Good for the price August 21, 2007 Mr. R. Young (UK) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This keyboard and mouse set is fine... nice feel to the keyboard and it responds well. The only fault I would have with it is that there is no light for caps lock so you don't know whether it's on or not. Other than this minor glitch I like it. Mouse is great... very responsive and has a nice 'click' to it. Also has the old scroll wheel which I insisted on having. I have a logitec keyboard of similar spec at work and it's all rather clunky... I much prefer this one!
Nice mouse, but the worst keyboard I've ever owned. May 14, 2007 Mr. A. Smith (London, England) 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
While the mouse is excellent, the keyboard is awful. The worst I've ever owned - to the point I've gone back to my original wired keyboard. It's unresponsive to speedy typing, requires syncing every week or so and seems to have an inability to register the control keys are being pressed down for more than 20 seconds. Awful, awful keyboard. I'm never going wireless again.
