Excellent product and excellent value July 5, 2008 Jonathan Wilkinson Having used many brands of projector in my work, this is fully equal in picture quality to far more expensive SVGA models (and frankly for most purposes SVGA is all you need). It is a bit plasticky and flimsy and I don't think would stand up to heavy use or much moving around, but it's outstanding value for money.
Great for the price June 24, 2008 Richard (UK) This a fantastic projector considering the price, great quality picture, easy to use and stylish too. Some good features including picture freeze, electronic zoom facility and aspect ratio change. The only slight drawback is that you can't make the full picture bigger without moving the projector further away, but if you're looking for a reasonably priced decent home projector look no further.
Just great May 30, 2008 giulioandrea (London) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Well, as others before me, I found this projector really great! It's a nice design, great colours and pretty bright. Not too sure what you could have more. A bargain ! G.
Stunning May 26, 2008 R. J. de Bulat (UK) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
For the price, this projector is nothing short of excellent. It displays bright colours and a sharp image over a large area. I watched a film at home at what was about the same size as a large LCD TV and was impressed, but took it to work in order to show my film students' work and enlarged the screening area to about 8 feet with no loss of image quality. You have to have speakers plugged in to your player or pc rather than from the projector itself, but I don't see that as being a problem. I'm sure it's basic: I know some projectors have an inbuilt DVD player. But it is cheap compared with most other systems on the market and delivers good results. I watch a lot of films and am reviewing my thoughts about buying a large TV when this provides a truly cinematic experience.
UNBELIEVABLE VALUE FOR MONEY! April 22, 2008 anotherNick (UK) 16 out of 16 found this review helpful
I expected this to be noticeably mediocre given the price. I expected a grainy picture with poor clarity and weak or inaccurate colour reproduction. Several months on, I am still stunned by the picture quality every time I switch it on. The strength of colour and picture clarity (even in light conditions) are astonishing. I bought a fancy VGA cable to go with this (a Belkin super-insulated, gold-connector, magical doodah job) to ensure I was getting the best signal possible, but I don't doubt it would perform admirably with the standard cable included in the box. I'm sure an AV buff with extensive experience would be able to point out the weaknesses of this projector in comparison with other far more expensive models. Personally, I can't see the flaws and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. If you're looking for a cheap, entry-level projector, look no further.
