Worth it September 26, 2008

At 50 you really cant go wrong. When you are using a 3.5mm audio jack (as you do with these speakers and most of their similarly priced rivals) you are never going to get the quality of 'proper' speakers. However these speakers perform far better than i would have expected and frankly are perfect for the price. Even at max volume there is no distortion (and you will never need maximum as it is extremely loud) the sound is clear and clean and they handle all different genres remarkabley well. The woofer is a bit of a beast when cranked up and they look pretty good sitting next to my macbook. I think if youre looking for some noise boxes in the 30-100 range i'd go for these.

If you want Good Quality and White speakers fit into your PCs colour scheme you need not look further. The Sub-Woofer unit is a tad bigger than I expected but works a treat. I'm not one for having lots of bass but I do like my music to have a bit of "Umph" to it and these speakers more than meet my requirements whilst looking the part too! 5/5 (Especially when considering the price)

I was expecting these speakers to be small, tinny and a bit crap. I thought what I would lose in sound quality I would gain in aesthetics.
I have never been so pleased that I was wrong.
What I got was roaring, earthy bass, practically no distortion at all (as, it seems, is becoming a trademark of Logitech's speaker range) and a very stylish-looking product. On Amazon it's not easy to find a set of speakers that would look good in a carefully-decorated room, and this set, as of early 2008, seems to be the only set that makes the grade without resigning itself to looking like some kind of plastic space ship.
I will carry on buying Logitech speakers from now on. Simple to use, aesthetically pleasing, distortion-free and surprisingly powerful.

At this price I didn't expect these to speakers to be much. OK, the reviews are good, but did the reviewers mean that for the price they are really good?
Well, I ordered and WOW, they are really excellent. Not only that but I will be ordering a second set for my son. Except they might play a bit to loud.... hmm have to think about that. :)

Thought id ask for a set of speakers for xmas after my old ones seemed to die on me.
I made sure i had a good look around as a good set of speakers didnt appear to come cheap. Well after reading reviews of various speakers on the net, i found these ones. They looked good and seemed to get a good review. I love a few tunes especially the old skool garage and house.
I plugged them in and WOW! Great sound, great bass with no distortion. Tested them with a few garage tunes and it sounded great.
I think that i picked a winner. Satillite speakers look funky and the bass box looks like what you'd get in the back of a car.
Buy one of these and you cant go far wrong.
