Oh dear! June 17, 2008 I. Pritchard (Bristol, England) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
How I wish I'd read these reviews first! I've been lucky in the past - I've not spent too much money on electronic stuff yet have not suffered from bad quality products. However I think my luck's run out with the Epson Stylus D92. Having only bought this printer a couple of months ago and having had very little use out of it, it's already telling me I'm out of black ink! I've hardly used it! I'm now looking at having to fork out 6 for a new black cartridge alone. Having now read the reviews I'm wondering if I should just cut my losses. Very frustrating, and would go with the majority of others in saying "don't buy the Epson D92"!
Do not buy Epson D92 June 14, 2008 Malkie Morrison 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
The Epson D92 I bought immedately threw up problems with my Windows XP. The status monitor flag (3) appeared after the first print and could not be closed down, locking my computer up completely. After a 17-minute phone call to Epson I was directed how to disable the status monitor. Three weeks later after printing no more than 25 b/w copies in total the printer stopped - out of ink! Another phone call produced no satisfactory response. It was too late to retrun the printer by then - I was left with a new printer with no status monitor demanding ink. I am binning the printer and would advise anyone NOT to buy this printer under any circumstances .

Standard envelopes 110mm x 220mm April 13, 2008 M. A. Ali 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
This printer is no good at all... A4 paper is OK but how about envelope to put this paper in ? No sir, tray will not take standard evnelope 110mm x 220mm. Who design this printer? I got it from Amazon for printing hundreds and thousands of these envelopes.... its no good to me so D92 is going back to Amazon next week. I am not blaming printing quality but its very very slow.
Good, low cost printer April 11, 2008 Jim M (Glos, UK) (UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I use Windows XP and have not had the problems with the D92 many people have reported. The printer is high usage on the black ink but when that runs low there is a facility to print black text using a combination of the colours. For 30, it's a superb printer for use with my laptop. This is my 3rd Epson printer and have been satisfied with them all.
