Cheap and it shows July 28, 2008 Epsilon3 (Leicester, UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These phones are cheap and this is a big plus. On the downside, they are flimsy and look and feel low budget. They need constant recharging - I often found that I'd be making a long call (say 45 minutes) and the phone would simply cut out. Finally, mine stopped working after a few months. I was almost glad as it means I can get a different model. Avoid this phone and spend a bit more if you are at all bothered about these issues - I intend to with my next purchase.
Promising - but let down March 29, 2008 Nick Holliday (London) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Recieved the phones - looked and felt really nice. Got them all charged up and ready to use. Here comes the but... when I hooked them up to the phone line I found that the phones wouldn't recognise the base station for love nor money. Phoned the technical support (who weren't too bad to be honest) but they eventually told me that something was wrong with the set and told me to get a replacement. Now Im sure Im just one of the unlucky ones - but I found it mightily annoying all the same- hence my rating. Im now going to buy a Panasonic set on the advice of someone else.
You get what you pay for January 8, 2008 motorheadfan (United Kingdom) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
As with all things I suppose you get what you pay for. Unlike the other reviewers I am less than happy with these phones. Firstly the battery life is very low for standby and talk time. Secondly there is no speakerphone on them so if you are 'on hold' to one of our illustrous corporations' customer services departments(!), you have to keep the phone to your ear, which is less than ideal when you are on hold for twenty minutes!! I have given them 2 stars only because of the price
Good price. November 9, 2007 kcampbel (UK) 8 out of 9 found this review helpful
I have discovered these phones seem to have a life of 2 years before they need replacing irrespective of price therefore I have gone for the budget end this time. Happy with what they do except for the fact that I have to add numbers to the phonebook in each handset rather than adding to 1 and it communicating the phonebook to the other.
bt twin phone October 13, 2007 F. Uddin (middlesex .UK) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
excellent phones no problems in the last year of use...only gripe where do we put the phones when fully charged as the cradle cannot be switched off...maybe that is good idea bt?....mind you most makes of phones have this problem and people tend to overcharge the battery. when you should really discharge nimh batterys before charging them again.
