WOW THE BASS REALLY KICKS ON THESE BADBOYS July 19, 2008 Adrian Christian (London) BEST HEADPHONES YET DONT LISTEN TO THE BAD REVIEWS THERE PROBERBLY DEATH THE BASS KICKS THE TREBLE IS OUT OF THIS WORLD I WAS WORRIED DUE TO MIXED REVIEWS BUT WHEN I PLUG'D THESE BAD BOYS IN MY IPOD NY EAR DRUMS WERE FILLED WITH BASS FOR HOURS SUPERB
Definitely tinny July 13, 2008 Handstander123 (UK) These headphones were a great disappointment. I bought them to replace standard i-pod phones but the sound quality is very poor - tinny and with little bottom end bass. they are inexpensive, but they are also cheap. If you want quality, then look elsewhere.Sennheiser CX300 Eco Ear Canal Headphones White
Excellent quality and comfort. July 12, 2008 L. E. Rassam (Liverpool, England.) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Pro: Block out external noise Con: The earbuds can be hard to attach when replacing. I have problems with earphones falling out of my ears, so when I saw that these come with 3 different sizes of ear buds to fit any canal, I knew I was onto a good thing. Music is very important to me and I spend up to 18 hours a day listening to it and much of this I am connected to earphones so comfort is essential and these do not disappoint. In addition, the sound quality is superb, actually better than without headphones, and this is due to the inimitable reputation and craftmanship of Sennheiser. I would definitely recommend these to anyone who takes their music seriously and they also last for a very long time. You can buy replacement ear buds too if you're worried about that; I used to buy those foam pads for my old earphones and replaced them often to be hygeinic. I know these are pricey but they really are worth it and if you use them often, it works out at less than 1p a play! Summary: Worth the extra money.
Disappointed June 27, 2008 Matt (UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased these headphones to replace those supplied with my ipod. The sound was fairly good for the price however there is a fair amount of 'wire noise' whilst walking. Sadly one of the earpieces stopped working after 2 months - I am looking for an alternative replacement.
Give them time! June 16, 2008 Ms. R. Woodfine (Sunderland, UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
When you first use these headphones they truly are awful, with practically no bass. But as with most headphones you need to break them in with lots of usage, just set them on a loud volume for a few hours and use them regularly and you'll hear the sound just getting better and better. Just make sure you stick them right in (they are in-ear headphones). They are excellent for blocking out sound (don't use them when cycling you'll not be able to hear cars behind you!) There is no way you can compare these with the supplied ipod headphones as they are a league above. One small problem, as others have noted, if you are moving around alot like jogging you can hear the friction in the wires, this may bother some people but I don't find it a annoying at all.
