Just received this pair of sennheiser today.... Just awesome in the ears!!! You pay 30 pounds and you have magic in your ears. Seriously. Much better than the 45 pound-shure 2EC. The bass is deep and crisp. Totally worth every single penny!

....like in planes or on public transport. Like other commentators I was a bit disappointed at first. It took me some time to get used to the strange sensation of having something stuck in my ear canal. Only when I got used to it and figured out which ear plug is the correct one for my anatomy I got really fascinated by the crisp and full sound along the entire spectrum. A good way of figuring out whether you have found the correct adapter is the following: Whilst listening to music gently push the earbuds in you ear. If the sound quality changes considerably you have the wrong adapter and they are not fitted correctly.
Only 4 stars because the packaging and bag are utterly useless and intermediate sized adapters would be very useful.

Just got these today, took about an hour opening them :)
Not only do they look good, they also stay in your ears really well. The sound quality is amazing, especially the bass, I'm hearing bits of songs that I had never heard before with my previous earphones.
Well worth the money.

Sennheiser CX 55 - High Quality Noise-Isolating Ear-Canal Headphones As a professional musician I have quite a discerning ear. I have bought Sennheiser headphones before and found them to be good but the quality of these is really quite startling. There's excellent sound balance right across the frequency range and the bass is really solid without being overpowering and too boomy. The clarity of sound is the same as you'd expect from other earphones costing twice the price and the fact that you can hear all these great features without extraneous noise is brilliant!
One small point, in the environmentally friendly age that we live in, the packaging is a little over the top! However, the fact that the product comes with a little pouch to keep them in is another plus! They're a great buy and I highly recommend them!

I listen to music mostly while I'm at the gym and have struggled to find a set of ear-bud headphones that stay in while I'm moving. I was pleasently surprised with these, they do a really good job of sticking in the ear.
More pleasing was the sound quality. For the price they are quite punchy and can throw out a good depth and bass.
I've owned a more expensive version of these Sennheiser before but the sound quality from these it certainly on par.
I'd definitely recommend these.
