Best nights sleep away from home! September 20, 2008 E. Watts (scotland) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have seen ready beds on sale in a few shops and as my son 17 months, hates his travel cot I thought it would be worth a try. My only regret is that I hadn't got one sooner!!! Although the reccommended min age is 2yrs, he is a big chap and can easily get in and out, and doesn't slip down under the cover. I did use the duvet from his cotbed as the cover on the bed is quite thin. The duvet fitted in the carry bag along with the bed so no need to take another bag. Its fairly qiuck to inflate and after 3 nights' use didn't seem to lose any air. My son slept really well in the bed and seemed very comfortable. Overall I think its the best purchase under 30 we have ever made!!!
A definite alternative or follow-on from the travel cot November 9, 2006 C. Tripp (Manchester, UK) 64 out of 64 found this review helpful
I have two of these, the Winnie the Pooh one and Thomas the Tank Engine. It feels (or looks) like a cosy little bed, rather than an airbed that you plonked your child in on the floor. It seems comfortable as both my children sleep absolutely fine in it. Unless you're using it in the summer, you will need to allow for another layer on top as it's quite thin. But better than something which was too thick and heavy you could only use it in the winter! They're a nice little size. I use one for my 2 year old and the other for my 5 year old. She's 105cm tall and sleeps very comfortably in it. I predict she'll probably get another year out of it. It's best to use an electric pump for it as the one that's included is a bit soul-destroying, though it does work.
