Choo Choo Thomas! July 3, 2007 Kermit (Doncaster) I have two of these in my sons room, one on his bed and one one the spare bed. With this on the bed my son (who was 18 months old when we first put him in a big bed with the canopy) has always been happy to go to bed and stay there till he falls asleep. It is not only my son who has enjoyed sleeping under this canopy, i have used it in the past and found it brilliant, it adds a bit more shade to the bed in an otherwise very bright room. Friends who have stayed over have also enjoyed riding the Thomas bedtime express (see the below review for the comments of one of those who have experienced this). This canopy will make bedtime more fun and enjoyable for a child and encourage them to stay in bed. Yes there is little educational value in this but then not everything needs to be educational lets just have a little fun! From another perspective this canopy is also very easy to put together and can be done with little trouble by one person or if both parents pitch in it will be together in no time at all. go on treat your kids (and anyone who might sleepover) and get them a thomas bed canopy.
Woo Woo! June 8, 2007 DangermouseZilla (Doncaster, Yorkshire, UK.) I'm 27, and last night I had the pleasure of sleeping in Thomas the Tank Engine, courtesy of my good friend Marc and a night of laddish DVD watching. He has this for his little lad who was away and he loves it. For any Thomas fan this is a brilliant bedtime gimmick. It serves a purpose too. The top is made of a material which isn't opaque, but it doesn't let too much light in either. So in the morning there your child isn't bathed in bright light (hopefully they'll stay in a bit longer!). The top is quite high so there's no feeling of claustrophobia, and it's easy to get in and out (even for a 6 foot 1 inch 27 year old kid-at-heart like me!). This is bright, it's fun, it fits a regular single bed, and hopefully a good way to convince your child to stay in bed. I'd get one for my little girl if it weren't for the fact that my wife is determined to make her a Charlie and Lola fan!
