I bought this case as it was recommended by Amazon on the same webpage as the TomTom v4. (Frequently Bought Together option).
They both arrived this morning, but the v4 will not fit into this case. Therefore the case is useless to me.
Confusingly, the case is described as 'New Edition' which makes you think that it would indeed fit the new v4 TomTom.
I'm in the process of returning this item.
It will probably be great for the v3, but *NOT* the v4.

I bought this case as it was recommended by Amazon as a case for the TomTom One v4. However, this is not so. This case doesn't hold the TomTom One with its fold up mount. There is an alternative case that holds both which is also sold by Amazon. It's beyond me why they recommend this case with the v4. Maybe they have a surplus supply they're trying to get rid of! I now have to order the correct case and have the inconvenience of returning the case, take it to the Post Office and organise a refund which I won't get until Amazon receive the case back, which can take up to 30 days! Sort it out Amazon!

If you have a TomTom One then get one of these! It's a smart way to protect the GPS unit out of the car and has a small interior pocket for extra SD maps should you decide to go on a world tour rather than drive to the next town. A small, tough case that slips easily into the pocket and protects the touch screen. Highly recommended.

Ever seen what a TomTom becomes when constantly in use without a protective case? I have. It is an ugly sight, and at times the screens are so scratched you can't really see the road or messages properly. My TomTom, however, is still in pristine condition thanks to this case.
This case is nice, handy, and protects extremely well. I cannot work out what the texture is but it even seems waterproof (i wouldn't try it though!).
Basically, it does the job! The one thing that is not mentioned anywhere and is just confusing is the lycra strap inside for which I cannot find any use! It could be a risk for the screen as there is a tiny chance it might scratch it, but I just kept the protective plastic on the screen! The lycra pulls the stars down to 4. Still a must have!

This product does exactly what it was intended to - protect your Tom Tom. The case is made from a hard material with a cloth coating and a zip to keep it in the case.
It is ideal for putting into the glove compartment, boot or even handbag when you leave the car.
I definitely recommend this as being essential if you have a Tom Tom.
