Writing this review some weeks after buying the case I write with the benefit of experience. The only good point is the quality of the leather - if you're into stroking your camera case then this is definitely the one for you.
However, if you actually value your camera, you'll find that the case doesn't fit the G9 properly and with the weak magnetic catch the camera is prone to fall out. After only a few days the belt loop broke and then after 3 weeks the clip tore away from the case leaving a rather large hole behind.
The only good news is that I'm so pleased that I bought a camera as solidly built as the G9. It's had to be tough to survive the rubbish case that I bought to protect it.

This case is made very well and does have a quality feel, but does not fit the camera (G9 in my case) very snugly. Camera slides around in case, which is not idea in my opinion.

Having invested in a Canon G9 I wanted a case to protect it. This is perfect! Good fit, quality soft leather, stylish and well made - a cut above the run of the mill camera cases you can buy in the high street and well worth the money.
