The Sony T300 Digital Camera replaces the Sony DSC-T200 with higher resolution and improved features. The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T300 has the same 5x optical zoom lens and 3.5-inch LCD touch screen as the previous model, but adds new features such as face detection, image management, and slide shows. The Sony T300 can now distinguish childrens or adults faces, and prioritize which to focus on; older models often had trouble recognizing children faces in particular. The Smile Shutter mode and dynamic range optimizing feature have also been improved, and the T300 can also prioritize adult or child smiles, taking the photo when it detects the selected smiling face.

After reading mixed reviews for this camera i decided to trust my instict.
I'm so glad i did, a girlfriend previously owened a sony so i new their cameras where allready top notch.
From the moment i turned it on l new l had made right choice, the startup speed is spellbounding.
Face detection is amazing, even pics up peoples faces on my laptop of other pictures l had there. Having a basic understanding of digital cameras is all you need and you pick it up in no time. Just playing around with it the best way to learn. The touch screen is amazing, just make sure you get a screen cleaner to go with it!
All i can say is get it and you will see how good it is, as with any sony product nothing but highest quality. You will not be dissapointed
P.S. Some people complained about the quality of low light shots, all you need to do is play around with the different scenes and you find the best picture quality. The colour is also really cool and make it stand out
