Features:
  • The futuristic battlefield has just arrived. Who wants girly sound effects when you've scored a direct hit? You want good old fashioned PAIN. For your opponent at least! Two chest plates, two shocking guns?
  • Challenge your friend (or enemy!) to a duel, strap on the chest plates and set your power ? high for hard men and low for wimps (and girls!)
  • Then turn your garden / house / office into the war zone. A direct hit on the breast plate will give the victim, er, sorry, your friend, a shock through the handle of the gun.
  • Please note ? not recommended for children under fourteen, adults over fifty or persons with any medical condition. Read warning panel before use.
  • BATTERIES?

Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
It's a strangely wonderful thing, electricity. One moment we're flying kites in thunderstorms to test conductivity, then next we're powering our whole society with it... and now, in the early 21st century, the electrical revolution has reached its zenith, its true Himalayan peak: the electric shock laser gun. Now, the power of high accuracy lasers and potent elecro-motive force sits right in the palm of your hand as you and a foe do battle over rough terrain (or your front room) to determine the title of Electro-Duelling Supremo. With two shock levels per gun - low and high - and six LEDs to knock-out on each breastplate, this is a game for the brave, the agile and the fearless. The limp-wristed, and girls, ofcourse, can only look on in awe. Each gun has the authentic look of a futuristic laser blaster, with specially designed integral metal handles designed to deliver a nasty shock - complete with truly authentic battle sound effects - if you're unlucky enough to take a direct hit from the enemy. Their awfully clever internal speakers also produce the appropriate sound whenever you reload or run out of laser ammunition. Many are called. But few are man enough to take the pain. Now's the time to take the challenge and get thoroughly blasted - if you dare.

5 out of 5 stars proper shooting game for adults and older teens   September 9, 2008

Safety first-this is not a young kids toy-nor suitable for anyone with ANY heart problems!!

If the above doesnt apply then go- but I would recommend keeping it on the low setting as it gives you quite a jolt!

No cheaating and denying you have been shot as you clearly hear your opponent cry out when you score a hit!

Great for older teens( and adult men!Boys never grow out of shooting games do they?)

Definately buy- forget laser guns and paintball-this is much more fun and much more accurate.

5 out of 5 stars Sheer Genius - seriously, buy some of these!   April 1, 2008

This set is brilliant fun - let's get that out of the way now! Remember those trips to laserquest when you were little? Well, it's just like that, but now you've got a real incentive to use cover.

I have a friend with one of those modern laser sets that occasionally beeps when you score a hit, and people sort of walk around the room with those, slightly bored and not really caring if they get hit or not.

This is all rather different. The shocks aren't particularly strong, but they're enough to give you a good reason to shoot the other guy before he zaps you. Something no-one has mentioned yet is that there is a little adjuster on the front of the chest plate that allows you to change how easy it is to be hit, but these are a little stiff, and realistically not worth messing about with. Everything else on these things is top notch. The weapons are light to carry, but satisfyingly chunky and with good sound effects, the 5 second reload and the option of a higher shock/damage setting adds some tactics into the mix.

Overall, these things are top notch, and guarrantee you a lot of fun!

1 out of 5 stars This is not a toy.   December 17, 2007

This item is totally misrepresented in the discription, but even worse the minimum age recommendation is incorrect. When the item arrives it clearly states in large scale on the box that it is NOT a TOY, that people with heart conditions, epilepsy etc should not use it, and that the MINIMUM AGE RECOMMENDATION is 14 YEARS.

I bought it for my 9 year old son for Christmas and it was only when I went to wrap it that I realised that it was wholly unsuitable, and potentially dangerous. I can't believe, given the clear labels on the box, that this is being sold as a toy with a minimum age recommendation of 14 months when it should be 14 years.

I'm sure that it is a fantastic gift for the right age group but the description and category need amending urgently. I hope that, by reading this, potential purchasers can make an informed decision.

5 out of 5 stars A brill laser tag game   March 26, 2006
20 out of 21 found this review helpful

As its name suggests, this thrilling game of laser tag is truly shocking - and we don't mean it pulls its pants down and hurls abuse the minute you open the box (although that would be quite amusing). You see, unlike regular namby-pamby laser tag sets, this state-of-the-art shoot 'em up is truly electrifying. That's because a direct hit to your opponent's chest plate delivers a nasty (but harmless) electric shock via the butt of your opponent's über-futuristic pistol.

Forget wimpy flashes and beeps; if you get hit with a blast from a shocking gun you'll definitely know all about it, and so will your opponent because every time you're hit, one of six LEDs on your chest plate is extinguished. Lose all your lights and it's game over!

Okay, so you'll probably look more Power Ranger than Starship Trooper wearing the LED-laden chest plate, but that's a small price to pay for the sheer pant-wetting excitement you'll experience whilst battling it out brandishing a potentially shocking, super accurate, long range (5m) weapon. Indeed, each gorgeously rugged gun is supplied with a wrist strap to prevent you from dropping it when shocked. And that's extremely likely if you set your guns on the 'I'm hard, I am!' maximum shock setting, a mode which extinguishes two LEDs instead of one.

You might imagine the key to victory lies in bombarding your opponent with a full-on assault, but Han Solo-style salvos will only end in mizzzzery because you need to 'reload' after every five shots - and that takes a full five seconds. For this reason you'll need oodles of cunning and stealth to outbuzz the enemy. In fact, you'll need every shred of nerve available, because Shocking Guns add an electrifying new dimension to laser tag. so get this, noww!!!
