This amazing FreeLogix Large Microphone Pop-shield prevents a vocal mic pop. When vocalists and presenters sing or say words which contain the letters 'P' or 'B' they expel a rush of air which can casue the microphone diaphragm to 'pop'. This 'pop' is heard as a 'thump' on the finised recording or broadcast. The pop-shield is made from a thin nylon webbing. This dissipates the energy produced by the rush of air. For optimum results, the pop-shield should be positioned midway between the vocalists and the microphone (around 10-15cm from each). The pop-shield is on a rod which clips onto a microphone stand. It can be rotated to achieve the desired position. This micorphone pop-shield is perfect for recording to prevent the pop noise.
