If this is the mouse I have... September 18, 2004 Ms. H. Fordham (UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I THINK this is the mouse I have although mine didn't come in a metal box, it came in plastic. This is a very nice mouse, although the light up logo on it doesn't work as well as you might hope from the description. I managed to persuade a mate I met at a LAN (computer gaming event) that it was actually decent and he wouldn't believe me till he'd played on it! It;s more suited to people with smaller hands...or of course children who I assume it's aimed at, but it's equally comfortable with larger hands as my friend (who is over 6 foot and has hhuuuuge hands) can confirm! It's ideal for all sorts of computer uses, especially playing games due to it's better sensitivity than ball mice. I have had absolutely no problems with this excellent mouse and recommend it to anyone who uses a mouse, especially for those who use it a lot as ball mice have a tendency to get all mucked up inside if used too often (or at least in my experience!)
These are a wizard buy! (ducks) February 23, 2004 Andrew Scaife (York, UK) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Regardless of the branding this is a super small optical mouse, ideal for children (smaller than standard mouse) or laptop use and very accurate. Has a scroll wheel and works best on a plain surface rather than any fancy mouse mat. The tin is nice for keeping the mouse in, and if you're wondering, yes, when you move the mouse, the optical sensor LED comes on and shines through the top of the mouse, illuminating the Harry Potter logo (thinks, someone should do a Batman one and have the Batsign on the wall everytime you move it). A nice present for a HP fan (my daughter was pleased).
The Harry Potter's mouse July 27, 2003 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
The design of the mouse is one of the best i've come across, it small shape the lighten scar that lights up will make any young child happy, the fact that it has no mouse ball is a definate improvement to most mice. It sldes across the mat with ease. I strongly recommend buying this but if you want the full potter experiance i would suggest buying the Harry Potter keyboard and mouse set which I have purchase and thoroughly enjoy.
err its pants!!!!! July 18, 2003 Ms. L. F. M. Jones (Birmingham England UK) 2 out of 7 found this review helpful
well u move the mouse and about 3hours later the cursor will move on the screen. if you want it cos its harry potter and dont intend to use it then fine but i must say i was really disapointed, other than that the box it came in was really ace and it does look kind of funky when it lights up!!!! dont bother if you ask me!!!
smother harry potter every day July 2, 2003 5 out of 9 found this review helpful
This mouse is very nice, as you get the daily opportunity to smother the smug bespectacled Potter child with your big clammy palm. But you must resist the urge to violently smash the mouse with your hand. This might break it. (Your hand that is)Children, and all women young or old will delight in the glowing Harry potter logo, as they do all of the Harry Potter branded goods spewing forth from all quarters. The metal box is useful also for safely storing your hardback copy of "Order of the Phoenix" which you foolishly believe will one day be worth a fortune.
