Ok when it works December 17, 2007 Topspud (UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Bought this device some time ago. It has always had problems with connection but when it is connected it works well --- well almost. Buttons often jam and has now packed up completely with jammed button for forward. Will buy a more expensive one in future (not targus although their cases are great) Mouse creep is also a problem, but amuses the audience
Wandering mouse October 3, 2006 Mr. P. Cook (UK) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I agree with the comments below. A good product with a flaw - in mouse mode tends to develop "mouse creep". Without touching any of the buttons in the mouse wanders off. I bought two one is fine and one is almost unusable. As a presenter it is fine as a mouse ... Buy with caution.
Broken within a year! August 3, 2006 Gladis (Nottinghamshire, England) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Great gizmo a first - used 3 times a week for 8 hour presentations at a time. However just as it approaches its 1st birthday it gives up the ghost! My advice buy a more expensive / robust presenter, or buy two!
Targus Presentation Remote April 11, 2006 Paula (UK) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I bought 6 of these for people at work including myself in the last 3 months and to date 2 of them have packed in. In future I think I'll go for the more expensive option in the hope it might be more reliable.
Travelling with Targus presenter March 9, 2006 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Excellent presenter. This latest model using toggle switches is significantly better than previous version BUT be warned. You are not allowed to carry this item on an aeroplane as it has a laser and has to go into hold baggage. The micro buttons are sensitive. My presenter was broken on a flight last week because the soft case allowed one of the buttons to be jammed in. SOLUTION - cut up the plastic presentation case into a solid holder and wrap in bubblewrap whenever flying with presenter. Yes I did buy another Targus, and yes I do recommend it.
