Choice of headphones is a very personal thing but these are the best I have ever had. Full stop.
The choice of fittings mean you can get the perfect fit for you, the volume control is really handy as is the clip so you don't have wires trailing everywhere.
But the sound is just fantastic! I listened to Revolver by the Beatles and heard things I have never heard before - and I've had the album on vinyl and CD and must have listened to it countless times. Plus the headphones really cut out external noise - even on a busy tube train.
Only negative comment - the little case split after just a month but it's still usable. And maybe it's my fault for cramming it with other accessories as well as the headphones.

Meant to give them 5 stars - can't fathom out how to change my rating!
Not an audiophile, but these sound absolutely fantastic. I've just bought my first Ipod and I took note of all the Amazonians out there who recommended buying a separate (better) pair of earphones than those supplied. I compared my new Sennheisers directly with the rubbish ones that came with the Ipod and couldn't believe the difference in quality of sound - a completely different experience.
The volume control is a nifty addition, and the noise isolating feature seems to work fine. Unlike some earphones these are very comfortable to wear, even over long periods. The sound is crisp and clear, and I would say that for the price this product is a steal - very, very good quality. It's a real pleasure to listen to music through these Sennheisers, and I would thoroughly recommend them.

These sound pretty decent, especially when you jam them right into your lugholes! They're not amazing, but they are good. Nice deep bass sounds v. suited to dance/rock, decent clear highs and detail. Maybe a bit flat for proper audiophiles but for the price they're a pretty good deal. A significant improvement on the phones packaged with most mp3 players.
Comes with a good selection of earbuds (I went for medium sized double-flange type for most comfortable fit). Contrary to other reviews i have read, cable size is easily sufficient for carrying mp3 player in your pocket.

I use my ipod at the gym 5 days a week and i've always used the earphones provided by apple and they have always broke!!! One of the ear peices always breaks, i have replaced them again with apple earphones and again they have broke with the same problems (apparently this is a problem with there earphones) i have to say they are rubbish, if you are after good quality ear-phones then buy these ones...they may seem expensive but you pay for what you get...and they last...EXCELLENT EAR-PHONES, EXCELLENT SOUND....COULDNT GET ANY BETTER!!!!

Bought for partner to replace ipod earphones - much better sound quality at a great price from a marketplace seller. Comfortable and the noise cancelling works.
