Not for everyone June 24, 2008 Bookbag (Melbourne Australia) I'm returning these things today. I listen mainly to ambient and downbeat sounds that are reasonably bottom-heavy. The tiny drivers just cant cut it... Hip-hop was just as disappointing. On the other hand, I played guitar based stuff and yeah, I can understand why some people who like that kind of music want to boof these speakers. Just be aware, they are not for everyone. I have a set from Maplin which, though not nearly as sturdy, pretty, or clean on the mid to top, handles the bass much more capably in my tiny bedroom. Also, whats the go with that little dance people do when they want to get out from the back of a full elevator?? Thats wierd.
TOP PRODUCT May 31, 2008 N. Maxwell (Northern Irelnd) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have alot of creative gear and these are a very welcome addition. Amazing speakers, very well designed and solid construction. Sound great with electronic and classical music. I recommend these speakers to those who like myself use there pc/lap as there main audio system who are confined to a small workspace. But most of all those who love great quality at great prices.
Really good May 3, 2008 Happy slave (Scotland) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought these to improve the sound quality of our new digital TV, They certainly did - in a big way. They handle classical music beautifully with a clear bass and fine mid-tones. Radio 3 has never been so good. They fill quite a large room with no trouble at all. A real bargain.
Great Speakers April 24, 2008 James Sedarati (England) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Don't be fooled by people telling you you need a sub woofer the bass on these gems is astounding, great for your music and especially your games and console games. Halo 3 sounds a treat with the high quality sound they produce, so if you don't want the clutter of a 5.1 or 2.1 system you will not be disappointed by this great 2.0 system. The speakers come with everything you need to plug pretty much anything into your speakers as well as your pc at the same time. Happy listening :)
Great little speakers April 15, 2008 A. Tosh (Surrey, UK) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Even with the great reviews that the product has got I was still very sceptical about them. I was looking for an ipod dock and came across a review for these and thought they would fit my need better, as I could use them for other things and they would fit in a bookshelf better. I got my speakers a couple of days ago and I have to admit for the price and size they are very good. Please, don't expect them to replace your B&Ws or Missions. The reviews may give you that impression as they are all pretty gushing. However, once you have these speakers I can now see its hard not to. They fill a room with decent quality sound (including ample bass) and seem to deal with my varied music collection easily (Classical to Heavy Rock). Simply put, I'm impressed and very pleased I bought these rather some of the more expensive brands out there. You just can't complain at this price. Although, that blue light is very, very bright....
